The main airport is Bahrain International located on Muharraq
Island approximately 4 miles north east of Manama.
Passenger Facilities: 24 hours buffet restaurant, bank, post office,
shops, car parking. A 24 hour taxi service is in operation from the
airport. Duty Free Shops.

The main
port of Bahrain is
Mina Salman. The port is located on the north-eastern side of the island
and is fully equipped for all kinds of cargo including container
operations. The Port can handle container vessels up to 300 metres long
with pilotage available 24 hours and a minimum depth of 35 feet at low
water
The
secondary, older port
of Mina Manama, constructed in 1926 is situated on the north side of the
island adjacent to the centre of Manama.
King Fahd
Causeway links the island of Bahrain at Jasrah to the mainland of Saudi Arabia
at Alaziziah. Visa requirements for non Gulf national are the same as
for visitors flying into Saudi Arabia or Bahrain. The fee per car one
way is BD2/-
