All visitors to Bahrain must hold a valid passport without endorsement
or restrictions for the country.
Visas not required: Citizens of Kuwait,
Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
Visas required: Citizens of all countries
not mentioned above. Visas may be obtained through Bahrain embassies
overseas.A list of these overseas embassies may be found earlier in this
section.
Transit Visas: 72 hours transit visas may
be obtained on arrival at Bahrain International Airport if applicants
hold
onward or return air ticket.
Valid certificate for yellow fever is required if arriving from a
country where the disease is endemic. Smallpox vaccines are being
withdrawn in some countries and certificates are not required except
when travelling from an infected area. Children under one year old are
exempt. Vaccinations are available 24 hours at Bahrain International
Airport.
